How Important is YouTube video marketing for your small Business?
How Important is YouTube video marketing for your small Business?
If you are a small business and you're not using YouTube yet to help market your business, you are missing out on free, customer-engaging traffic. Being on YouTube is like having a store inside the World's Largest Shopping Mall... And yes, there are tons of competitors, but as I heard a comedian joke about one time... "I was in Houston, Texas once and saw a Starbucks packed with people, directly across the street was Another Starbucks and it was also packed." - There is tons of traffic on YouTube and if you are not using it, you are missing out.
You don't have to have an amazing, expensive video promoting your business. It could be just you, talking passionately about what your business does and how you treat your customers. Or it could be a slideshow of photos with a voice-over on top. Just get something up working for you; and don't just stop with just one video. I suggest posting a new video at least every two-weeks, if not even more frequent.

You may or may not have heard of Meetup.com - Its a web site that connects people with similar interests... for Business, hobbies and just about anything else.
People on this site join groups online and then the group usually meets once a month or more in person.
I've attended quite a few group Meetups and I've found it a great way to network with other people for business and social media marketing ideas.
The iPhone development group that I am part of is especially good. The turnout is very good and the people are very skilled.

If you're looking for a new traffic source, consider making small videos for YouTube.
Being on YouTube is like having a small store in the biggest Shopping mall in the World.
Make sure to have a few, very focused key words on your YouTube videos and you should see some traffic start to trickle in soon.
We try to add 3-10 new videos to YouTube each and every work.
The more content you have there, the more chances you have to grab the traffic.

iPhone 4: To Order, or Not To Order?
So I finally got around to physically checking out the iPhone 4. I was expecting to look at the new Retina display and go "Holy F'in Poop" this is awesome... but I didn't.
However... it does look great--- it was like looking into a Fantasy World.
I also forgot how small and light the iPhones are without any case or bumpers... It didn't feel right in my hand... I'm so used to the bulk (albeit small) added to my 3gs from my $2 Taiwanese case. (DealExtreme.com FTW!)
I didn't have time to play with it enough to see if there will be a noticeable speed increase for me. I was fine with my 3gs until the new iOS4 came out... I found this new OS really slowed me down in day2day tasks.
So bottom line is...I wasn't 100% blown away by the phone and I'm left handed... so now I sit here and ponder.
To Order or Not to Order, that is the Question.

I'm left handed... Should I still buy an iPhone 4 today?
So I really want my iPhone 4.
I'm really anxious to try out the 720p video on the phone as well as the full-time video light and the photo flash.
I'm also really excited to check out the speed increase, as I do find my 3gs a little slower with the new iOS 4.
My main concern is that I am left-handed and I almost always hold my phone with my left hand.
I do believe the iPhone 4 antenna issue has been over-hyped. But It Is a known problem.
I just don't want to take the time and effort to get the new phone and then have major problems with it.
Did you just take the leap? And do it? Should I?
